PRSAIE Board members at Inland Empire Magazine BOTIE event 2024What a great idea to celebrate Inland Empire businesses! Along with PRSA-IE board members C.L. Lopez, Hannah Tudor and Charee Gillins, I recently attended the inaugural Best of Inland Empire Awards hosted by Inland Empire Magazine, It made me proud to be a resident of this enterprising region. Magazine readers nominated their favorite businesses, and the gala provided a fun opportunity to honor and meet the winners, including several that are past sponsors or are employers of PRSA-IE members: Pechanga Resort Casino (Best Casino), Riverside Convention Center (Best Meeting Venue) and Arrowhead Regional Medical Center (Best Hospital). Congratulations!

This event is a wonderful reflection of the innovation and potential within our region. Some of the area's interesting developments that I’ve noted include: Ontario Airport’s growth, the Rancho Cucamonga to Las Vegas high-speed rail project, the Salton Sea lithium project, and higher education in the IE. Public relations and marketing professionals play a significant role in the organizations that are driving change and progress in the region. This includes many nonprofits who serve the IE’s growing population. Every year, the Chapter presents a workshop for nonprofits to support these leaders and help them reach their intended audiences.

So, yes, let’s continue to raise the visibility of outstanding organizations within the Inland Empire. The Chapter is here to provide personal and professional growth opportunities for our region's PR and marketing leaders so they learn, build relationships and are inspired. Please join us at an event or take advantage of the other opportunities available through the Chapter. Your success is the IE’s success.
