From Your President: Lean on PRSA

As we navigate the complexities of our ever-changing world—both personally and professionally—I am reminded of the invaluable support and resources that PRSA provides. We are tasked with managing complex and, often, daunting issues for our organizations, so having a network of peers and access to relevant tools can make all the difference.
Here are a few ways your local chapter and national organization can provide help:
- Attend a networking event where you can relax, share ideas and glean insights from fellow professionals (there are events on May 16 in Palm Springs and May 23 in Riverside; Plans for an event in Temecula/Murrietta are underway)
- Search for a specific topic and find a webinar (free for national members) related to a challenge you are facing
- Get helpful information and hints from PRSA’s Strategies & Tactics newsletter
If you're facing a specific challenge and could benefit from personalized support, please don't hesitate to reach out to Chapter board members. We are here to connect you with fellow members who may be able to offer guidance and assistance.
You may remember I mentioned that we’re planning events in three member-heavy Inland Empire regions: Riverside, Temecula/Murrieta and Coachella Valley. Two events—in Riverside and Palm Springs—are now on the calendar! Feel free to attend these events even if these cities are not where you reside or work; they’ll be open to current and future members. Amazingly, we’re already halfway through the year, I am grateful for the positive response to our Chapter events thus far and for the board members and volunteers who have organized them. Your feedback is invaluable in shaping future events that best serve you. Please continue sharing your insights and suggestions so that we can ensure our chapter remains a valuable resource for its members.
